From a young age, Amy loved to draw. She used her vivid imagination to create stories through pictures and to record the people, pets, and events that surrounded her and were woven through her life. Her first drawings frequently reflected her love of horses and unicorns, castles and princesses, and her beloved pets—her cats and dogs. As she grew older, the drawings became more sophisticated and often centered on fashion and her original dress designs. Through art classes at school, Amy learned a variety of techniques to use in the pictures she created.

The note cards and note pads available on this website are Amy's actual artwork rendered at different ages of her young life. The cat pictures were created in elementary art during first, second, and third grade. The picture with the multitude of cats won first place in her age bracket in the Richmond Community Art Fair—Amy was in first grade at the time!

When you purchase any of these lovely cards or note pads, the proceeds go directly to the Literacy Foundation to help pay for the Amy's Story book bags given to pre-kindergarten children.
